Michael York (born Michael Hugh Johnson: March 27, 1942 Fulmer, Buckinghamshire, England) is an English actor.

Michael is most famous in his film roles in Taming of the Shrew (Lucentio), Logan's Run, Jesus of Nazareth (John The Baptist), Sword of Gideon, and Duel of Hearts.
Michael is now living in California, USA and is now an American citizen. He has been married to Patricia McCallum since 1968 and he is the stepfather of Patricia's son and Star Wars producer Rick McCallum.
