Mini-Me is the midget clone of Douglas Powers in the Austin Powers motion picture series. The character is played by actor, stuntman and children's advocate Verne Troyer.

Plot

When Dr. Evil was cryogenically frozen for the second time in 1997, his minions cloned him as a safeguard. The clone was identical in every way but was "one-eighth his size." Upon being introduced to his clone, Dr. Evil dubbed him "Mini-Me." Mini-Me has almost no dialogue in the films, beyond and occasional frightened high-pitched cry of despair and a single line sung in a deep voice during a remix performance of Just the Two of Us. At one point, he asks Dr. Evil to hug him after meeting Stuart Hope, who wants to eat him. On most other occasions, Mini-Me prefers to express himself through written notes. He has the ability to survive in deep space for an extended period of time, though he does need a flu shot afterwards. Mini-Me has a pet called Mini-Mr. Bigglesworth, a miniature version of Dr. Evil's cat. However, his status of heir to Dr. Evil's empire was removed in favor for Scott Evil after the latter managed to give Dr. Evil sharks with head mounted lasers, and was ignored for the most part. In part due to the actions of a mole within Dr. Evil's empire, Mini-Me managed to defect to the world government. When Austin returned to his pad after a failed mission to Japan, he stumbled upon Mini-Me and, not having been told beforehand that Mini-Me was actually defecting to his side, thought he arrived to kill him (a fact that was given credence where he appeared to have a knife in his hand, which was actually a letter opener due to attempting to open an envelope before Austin arrived, and the fact that he was mostly mute didn't help matters much either), fought with Mini-Me until he realized from the mole his mistake. Afterwards, Mini-Me started dressing more like Austin Powers, and aided him and Foxxy Cleopatra in infiltrating Dr. Evil's submarine lair.

He appears to have an incredible desire to have sex with Foxxy Cleopatra, as he is seen passing her sexually explicit love notes and even humping her in one scene.
