Mrs. Marie Kensington played by Mimi Rogers is Austin's original side-kick in the 1960s. Although Austin has a soft spot for her, she is married to another. She is the mother of Vanessa Kensington. Her status as a human or a robot is unknown, since her daughter Vanessa was a Fembot. The character is a spoof of Mrs. Emma Peel character from the television series The Avengers. Mrs. Kensington was a former partner to Austin Powers after Dr. Evil escaped in the big boy ship. When Austin was frozen she retired and had a child called Vanessa. She was last seen on the phone to her daughter. After that she never appeared again in any of the sequels.
It is highly speculated that she was Austin's first true love and the two had slept with one another on multiple occasions.
